Writing prompt 2
Its true that you have no control where from, but its often mistaken that you cant control where you go. Many people focus on where they started what they had to deal with from the beginning. it sad to think about it, but many people lead depressing lives because they fell as if they can never be any better than their life as children. I was fortunate enough to be born into a family where i was treated very good from both my parents, and got everything I ever needed. i know that a lot of family's aren't able to give their children what is needed, but i also find it interesting that some of these children turn out to be some amazing adults that want better for their children. there are a lot of times where the kids that are badly are the ones that know how it feels, and know how to appreciate and earn everything the accomplish. i'm not saying that if you are treated good as a child that you are bound to be an adult that doesn't appreciate anything, i just believe it is much harder to appreciate things, especially material items if you were given things in you childhood.
Writing prompt 1
The question,"how can i change the world we live in," is hard to say, because no one knows what their future holds. i would like to think that someday i could start coaching, and the odd thing is, i'm not very concerned with what sport. i would love to just teach young people, not only how to excel physically, but how to excel as a human being. i strongly believe that each and every person is responsible for their contribution to make this world a better place, no matter how big or small their contribution is. Its interesting that every person on the planet will at both help others and also be helped at some time or another in their lives.
I would love to get my coaching degree right after high school, and will probably end up coaching either coach bowling or volleyball. My ultimate goal would be to student coach in college, i think it would be a fun challenge to coach people my age. i also think that this would give me a chance to shadow under a coach with some experience. This opportunity would be great because i could get to work with very passionate young adults that have a drive to compete with others.
I strongly believe that coaching entails much more than teaching whatever sport i choose, there is also a responsibility to teach the athletes to be better human beings. Some of the most unsuccessful coaches i have had failed to teach responsibility, and respect. In my opinion those are the two most important things to learn when being coached. Coaches that fail to gain respect from their athletes trouble to succeed when making big decisions that a team or individual doesn't believe in. additionally a coach that doesn't instill responsibility in athletes, especially young athletes, is very inefficient at having productive practices. One of my favorite sayings a coach I respect say is, " early is on times, on time is late, and late is unforgivable." Responsibility is an incredibly important aspect of all around life.
